A tug / refinery owned by the Imperial Mining Conglomerate, the USS Nostromo is capable of long term deployment in a system, handling the raw ores that the fleet of mining ships bring to her. She currently is in close orbit to the asteroid belt, where tugs bring raw materials to her and depart with processed ore, gases, and other compounds, to DS14.
