The year is 2385. Located at the edges of the Finnea star system, the occupants of Deep Space Fourteen find themselves thrust out into the public eye as the station's commander, Rear Admiral Lucatz, finds herself in command of Starfleet's interest in the Gamma Quadrant. At the same time the Bajoran wormhole, their one connection to home, is sabotaged, closing it. Then word is received that the Dominion have decided to rattle their swords, and have begun skirmishes along the no-fly zone.

Things are about to get interesting.
